KWAZULU-NATAL — SA First Forum CEO and lawyer Xolani Zuma has revealed that he and his wife, Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma, may be facing a warrant of arrest, with their legal team scrambling to confirm the details.
As reported by @ZANewsFlash, Xolani Zuma said they had received information suggesting that warrants had been issued against both him and Ngobese-Zuma, who leads the March and March Movement.
He added that should the warrant prove legitimate, the couple is prepared to present themselves to police without resistance. He added that his legal representatives are currently gathering more information before any further steps are taken. No official confirmation from the South African Police Service had been issued at the time the information was made public.
Ngobese-Zuma's previous warrant of arrest
The development marks a new chapter in Ngobese-Zuma's legal troubles.
In January 2026, she voluntarily surrendered at the Point Police Station in Durban after a public violence case was opened against her, March and March, the uMkhonto weSizwe Party, and Operation Dudula.
That case arose from protests staged outside Addington Primary School around 21 January 2026, where demonstrators pushed for priority to be given to South African children over those of undocumented foreign nationals in school admissions.
Ngobese-Zuma handed herself over on 27 January 2026 after learning a docket had been opened. By late February 2026, she had still not been formally charged, with the matter awaiting a decision from the National Prosecuting Authority. She had also opened counter-charges against the state in relation to that incident.
Ntsiki Mazwai calls for Ngobese-Zuma's arrest
Briefly News reported that Ntsiki Mazwai took to social media to boldly call for Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma's arrest.
Ngobese-Zuma had handed herself over to Durban police a day prior, facing charges of inciting violence.
The March and March leader's supporters flooded the comments section, accusing Ntsiki of using the activist for clout.
