A Xiaomi 5G handset with model number M786BC has passed China's 3C certification with 100W fast charging support, and tipster Digital Chat Station identifies it as the standard Redmi K100. Leaks point to a battery close to 10,000mAh, a flat display of up to 185Hz, and a possible late-October launch.
A new Xiaomi 5G smartphone with the model number M786BC has cleared China's 3C certification and supports 100W fast charging. Tipster Digital Chat Station says the device is the standard Redmi K100. The listing covers only the charging rating and model details and reveals nothing about the processor, display, or cameras.
Xiaomi has not confirmed the handset's identity. If the tipster is correct, the standard K100 will match the 100W wired charging of the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max, which launched in China on August 11. At that launch, Wei Siqi, general manager of Xiaomi's China marketing department, said the K100 family would include the Pro Max, the Pro, a standard version, and a gaming flagship.
Digital Chat Station, citing an engineering prototype in August, claimed the standard K100 has a flat 6.8 to 6.9-inch display with a refresh rate that could reach 185Hz and a battery approaching 10,000mAh. The same tipster has linked the phone to Qualcomm's original Snapdragon 8 Elite and a 1.5K resolution panel. Further unconfirmed reports list a dedicated gaming display chip, symmetrical dual speakers, a large linear vibration motor, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and IP68 dust and water resistance.
Another tipster, Smart Pikachu, says Redmi is tentatively planning to launch the standard K100 towards the end of October. The leaker claims the phone will offer Snapdragon dual-chip performance, a very large battery, an ultra-high refresh rate screen, and Bose-tuned audio.
The K100 Pro runs a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 variant with an 8,580mAh battery and starts at ¥3,699 (about $550). The K100 Pro Max uses the full Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, packs a 9,070mAh battery, and starts at ¥4,499 (about $670). Both models feature 185Hz OLED displays and 50W wireless charging.

I’ve been obsessed with tech for as long as I can remember, so much so that I’ve become the unofficial "tech support" for my entire family. Whether it’s fixing gadgets, explaining specs, or recommending the best buys, I love breaking down tech for everyday people. That passion led me to writing about tech. When I’m not testing gadgets or writing reviews, you’ll probably find me hiking or doom-scrolling car listings (still hunting for my first ride, wish me luck, lol).
