Shah Rukh Khan’s King is one of the most-awaited films of the year, with fans eagerly awaiting the release of its promo. Reports claim that fans may soon get their next major look at King on the silver screen.
According to a report by Moneycontrol, “King” is gearing up for a promotional push, with its 45-second teaser receiving certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
The promo is reportedly expected to play alongside theatrical screenings of Ranbir Kapoor's “Ramayana”, setting the stage for increased excitement around the action thriller.
Movies Talkies reported that the promotional video of King might be unveiled on Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday on 2 November. However, the makers are yet to officially confirm the launch date or the reported plan to attach the promo to “Ramayana”.
King was officially announced in November last year. The power-packed title reveal was dropped on 2nd November to mark Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday, introducing his silver-haired, action-driven avatar, an SRK-special theme song, and a hard-hitting dialogue delivered by SRK: “Darrnahi, Dehshathoon”, creating a massive buzz across media platforms. As the release date draws near, the anticipation for the film continues to soar.
Backed by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, King is one of the most highly anticipated films for several reasons! The film not only reunites the superstar with Pathaan director Siddharth Anand, but also marks his first on-screen collaboration with his daughter, Suhana Khan, making the project even more exciting for fans.
The forthcoming action thriller also includes Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, Jaideep Ahlawat, Saurabh Shukla, Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff in key roles.
“King” is all set to hit theatres on 24 December 2026.
