The exciting new chapter comes after a difficult period in Julia's personal life.

However, Julia recently revealed that she had also purchased an apartment in New York City, with a little help from her close friend, celebrity chef Ina Garten.
Speaking on Ina's Happy Hour podcast, the actress explained that losing her home of more than three decades had prompted her to reconsider where she wanted to live.
"I think we need a home-home in New York now because I can't start over in L.A.," she recalled telling her husband.
In a remarkable coincidence, Julia eventually purchased an apartment in the same building where her late father once lived.
