In a recent X post, long-time Shiba Inu community member Mazrael hinted that Shiba Inu's pseudonymous creator, Ryoshi, might be gone for good after disappearing in May 2022.
Just like Bitcoin's enigmatic creator Satoshi Nakamoto, who exited the scene in April 2011, Ryoshi deleted his iconic Medium posts and previous tweets in May 2022 and has never been heard from since.
Not from Ryoshi. The allhailtheshiba Medium was deleted May 30, 2022. A different account took the handle afterward confirmed by the change in Medium page user ID on Wayback Machine (70f3e7a9c807 → c8d086596085). Same username, different account. Post-deletion content isn't Ryoshi. And you know this.

In response to an article that sought to explain the mystery of the Shiba Inu founder, Mazrael clarified that any content ascribed to Ryoshi after the deletion of his tweets and Medium posts may not be from him.
Key detail uncovered
Some in the crypto market claimed the Shiba Inu creator had returned and might have launched other tokens (meme coins), drawing comparisons to Ryoshi's inspiration and his X profile picture.

Mazrael firmly stated that this is "not from Ryoshi" while sharing a key detail to support his claim. According to Mazrael, the 'allhailtheshiba' Medium attributed to Ryoshi was deleted on May 30, 2022. Shortly after, a different account took this handle, which is confirmed by the change in Medium page user ID on the Wayback Machine from 70f3e7a9c807 to c8d086596085.
"Same username, different account. Post-deletion content isn't Ryoshi," Mazrael wrote alongside a screenshot that showed the details of the deletion of the 'allhailtheshiba' page and a subsequent change in user ID.
The screenshot showed the page user ID as of May 30, 2021, when Ryoshi was active in the SHIB community, as '70f3e7a9c807.' Following the deletion of the page, a new user ID emerged as 'c8d086596085'.
"This is wrong—this message was posted on the Medium after Ryoshi deleted the 'allhailtheshiba' handle and someone else took the handle," Mazrael wrote, highlighting this fact without specifically stating the message and the post he was referring to.
"This is observable by anyone on Wayback Machine. The Medium page username is the same as they took the same handle, but the user ID is the proof in the page," Mazrael wrote.
