The Pistons and Celtics will tip off the 2026-27 NBA regular season with a Tuesday matinee in Detroit.
The best team in the Eastern Conference last season, Detroit was shaky in the playoffs, needing seven games to get past the Magic before falling to the Cavs in the conference semifinals. The team looks to go further this time around, especially with Cade Cunningham and Jalen Duren on the roster.
The new-look Celtics went unbeaten in preseason play. The roster, captained by Jayson Tatum, features new stars like Paul George and Mitchell Robinson as it looks to improve on last season's first-round exit against the 76ers.
Here's what you need to know about Tuesday's matchup between the Pistons and Celtics, including broadcast information and start time.
