Josh Allen certainly has a fan in Erin Andrews!
During the Wednesday, October 21, episode of her and Charissa Thompson‘s Calm Down podcast, the sports commentator, 48, reflected on her recent sit-down interview with the Buffalo Bills quarterback, 30, which aired on FOX NFL Sunday on October 18.
“What a dream. Can I just say, you and I always talk about how fortunate we are with these guys giving us their time, but it was a week that he was away with his team,” Erin explained. “They were kind of treating it like a training camp vibe, breaking bread, as he would say, going out.”
The former Dancing with the Starshost pointed out that Allen — who tied the knot with Hailee Steinfeld in 2025, and shares 6-month-old daughter Harper with the actress, 29 — was generous enough to give her his time in California after the Bills’ win against the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium on Monday, October 12.
“The fact that they came out, they came off the win versus L.A., and they were going to hunker down and go over some things here heading into Week 6, and he was like, ‘Yeah, I’ll do the sit down’. Come on, Josh Allen. You are so sweet,” she gushed. “I was so appreciative … and I really am grateful for that.”
“How do you not like him? I just smile,” Andrews added before joking about her cosmetic injections: “My Botox is gone when I listen to him because I’m smiling so hard my face hurts.”
“He’s so just absolutely so wonderful to be around. I was going to say adorable, but I can see the headline. ‘Erin Andrews calls Josh Allen adorable’, but he’s adorable,” Andrews admitted.
In his interview with Andrews, the NFL star got personal, admitting he’s “softer” and “more emotional” since he and Steinfeld, 29, welcomed their first child together.
“I look at her, and it’s just like sometimes I just wanna cry. It’s just like, that’s my daughter, that’s my baby. Me and my wife did this,” he reflected. “And then to see her just figure out life, it is the friggin coolest thing.”
