Colombo, Oct. 20 (Daily Mirror) - Former Foreign Affairs Minister Prof. G.L. Peiris arrived at the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) today (20) to provide a statement in connection with an ongoing investigation.
Prof. Peiris appeared before the Commission following an official notice requesting his presence.
The investigation concerns a meeting held during his tenure as Minister of Foreign Affairs, with particular focus on discussions that took place after he assumed duties in 2009.
