A geyser becomes an essential appliance during winter, especially when cold water makes everyday bathing uncomfortable. If you don’t need a large water heater, a 10-litre storage geyser can be a suitable option for your bathroom. These models come with different heating technologies, tank coatings and insulation materials that affect how they store and heat water. Features such as adjustable temperature controls, digital displays and built-in safety mechanisms can also differ from one model to another. Some geysers focus on protecting the tank and heating element against corrosion, while others offer additional protection against voltage fluctuations or high water pressure.

To help you explore the available options, we have shortlisted five 10-litre storage geysers available in India and examined their key features, including heating elements, tank construction, safety systems and warranty coverage.
Pureit P10

The Pureit P10 has an Incoloy 800 heating element and a glass-lined inner tank. You can adjust the water temperature between 25°C and 75°C using its thermostat, while the high-density PUF insulation helps keep the stored water warm for longer. It also comes with automatic shut-off and thermal cut-off protection to prevent overheating. The geyser supports water pressure of up to 8 bar, making it suitable for homes with compatible high-pressure plumbing, including many high-rise apartments.
Pureit provides a five-year warranty on the inner tank, along with two-year coverage for the heating element and the complete product. Its combination of temperature adjustment, insulated construction and built-in safety mechanisms covers the key functions needed for everyday hot-water use.
Crompton Arno Neo

The Crompton Arno Neo uses a 2,000W heating element and comes with a temperature control knob for adjusting the heating settings. Its inner tank incorporates Nano Polybond technology, while a sacrificial magnesium anode rod with a stainless-steel core helps protect against corrosion. PUF insulation helps reduce heat loss, and the powder-coated metal body is designed to resist rust. The geyser also features a three-level safety system, automatic shut-off and a multifunction valve.
With an 8-bar pressure rating, it is designed for plumbing systems that operate under higher water pressure. Crompton provides a five-year warranty on the tank, along with two-year coverage for the heating element and the complete product.
Orient Electric Cronos Pro

The Orient Electric Cronos Pro has a polymer outer body instead of the metal casing used in many storage geysers. It has an 8-bar pressure rating, making it suitable for homes with compatible high-pressure plumbing. The polymer construction sets it apart from models with conventional metal bodies, while its 10-litre tank stores hot water for everyday use.
The Cronos Pro is part of Orient Electric’s storage water heater range and has a compact vertical design. Its polymer exterior is the main distinguishing feature, setting it apart from models that rely on powder-coated metal bodies. The model combines this construction with the core functions of a storage water heater, including storing heated water for use when required.
Bajaj Shield Series Popular Plus

The Bajaj Shield Series Popular Plus has a marine-grade glassline-coated tank, a DuraCoat non-stick heating element and a DuraNTe thermostat. Bajaj backs the tank with a 10-year warranty and the heating element with a six-year warranty, while the thermostat comes with a four-year reliability assurance. The geyser also uses Swirlflow technology, which the company says can deliver up to 20% more hot water. A dedicated child safety mode is included as well.
Voltage Pro technology provides surge protection up to 4.5kV, while the thermoplastic outer body is designed to resist rust and provide shock resistance. The model has an 8-bar pressure rating and a multifunction valve.
Goldmedal G-Hydro Digi

The Goldmedal G-Hydro Digi comes with a digital display that shows the water temperature and a knob to adjust the heating settings. Inside, it uses an Incoloy 800 glass-coated heating element and a titanium glassline-coated tank with a vitreous enamel finish. PUF insulation helps keep the stored water warm, while Dynaflow Technology is part of its heating system. The combination of a digital display and manual temperature control makes it possible to check and adjust the water temperature without relying solely on indicator lights.
For safety, the geyser comes with a preset thermal cut-out, a pre-calibrated thermostat and a multifunction 4-in-1 safety valve. It also has IPX4 water resistance for protection against water splashes, along with a heavy-duty magnesium anode rod to help protect the tank against corrosion.
