A power outage has left the historic centre of Thessaloniki without electricity for nearly 90 minutes after a fault reportedly affected a high-voltage network early on Thursday morning.
The outage began at around 6:30 a.m., according to reports. Repair crews are at the scene, but authorities have yet to provide an estimated time for restoring electricity.
Traffic lights and street lighting along central roads have also stopped working. However, the Fire Service has received no calls for assistance so far.
