The Tennessee Titans entered the weekend with an open roster spot after releasing defensive tackle Jordan Elliott early in the week, and on Saturday, they filled the opening with a familiar face.
After being elevated and making two total tackles in Week 6 to replace Elliott, veteran defensive tackle Timmy Horne was signed to the 53-man roster and will likely join the defensive line rotation against the Cleveland Browns.
A former undrafted rookie free agent with the Atlanta Falcons following the 2022 NFL Draft, he has been a quality rotational piece throughout his career. After three seasons with Atlanta and the New York Giants, he saw action in 21 games (five starts) and made 31 total tackles, two passes defensed, and two quarterback pressures, but a torn Achilles in the 2024 preseason derailed his upward trajectory.
Once healthy, he signed with Tennessee in July 2025, spent the entire season on the Titans practice squad, and re-signed with the organization on a reserve/futures deal in January.
He will now suit up with the Titans against the Browns in Week 7 action at Nissan Stadium.
