Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH) is offering 300 public sale homes in the Siheung Geomo public housing district. Under the price cap on new homes, average presale prices are about 410 million won ($290,000) for 59-square-meter units and about 570 million won ($400,000) for 84-square-meter units.
LH said on the 23rd that it is issuing a public notice to recruit occupants for 300 units in Block S-1 of the Siheung Geomo public housing district. Block S-1 is the first general public sale housing to be supplied in the district.
The offering consists of three unit types across two sizes: 34 units of 59㎡ Type A, 52 units of 59㎡ Type B and 214 units of 84㎡ Type A. The 84-square-meter units account for more than 70% of the total.
The complex will be built as five buildings rising up to 20 stories. It will include childcare facilities such as a daycare center and a toddler playground, along with amenities reserved for residents, including a fitness center, a small library and a community cafe. The resale restriction and mandatory residency periods are each three years.
Applications will first be accepted from winners of the advance subscription round. Remaining units will then be offered through special supply applications on Nov. 16, followed by general supply applications on Nov. 17. Applications will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days. Winners will be announced at 2 p.m. on Nov. 26, and contracts will be signed from Feb. 1 to 3 next year. Move-in is scheduled for June 2029.
The Siheung Geomo public housing district is within a 10-minute drive of Baegot New Town, the planned Ansan Science Valley and the Banwol-Sihwa national industrial complexes. The West Ansan interchange and the Gunja junction provide access to the Yeongdong Expressway, the Pyeongtaek-Siheung Expressway and National Route 39.
Singil Oncheon Station, served by subway Line 4 and the Suin-Bundang Line, is a five-minute drive away. The Seohae Line can be reached at Siheung City Hall Station, a 10-minute drive away. Access to Yeouido and Pangyo will improve once the Sinansan Line and the Wolgot-Pangyo Line, an extension of the Gyeonggang Line, open.
Elementary and middle schools are within walking distance. Nearby amenities include a Shinsegae Premium Outlet, the Ansan branch of Traders, Sandeul Park and the Jegicheon waterside park.
The model house is located at the housing exhibition hall at 1149 Geumgok-dong, Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi Province. Two layouts, the 59㎡ Type B and the 84㎡ Type A, will be on display, with the remaining types available for viewing on the presale website.
