England head coach Brendon McCullum says his team must adopt an aggressive approach to challenge Pakistan in the ongoing ODI tri-series. He warned that facing the hosts on their home ground would be difficult because of their familiarity with local conditions.
Speaking at a press conference, McCullum praised Pakistan’s hospitality and the atmosphere in the country. “The people of Pakistan are hospitable, and the atmosphere is wonderful,” he said. However, he stressed that England must adapt their strategy to compete effectively against Pakistan.

McCullum described Pakistan as a strong side with a clear home advantage. He also highlighted the need for teams to remain flexible and adjust their plans according to the conditions during the tri-series. England will face Pakistan in their opening match on October 20 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Pakistan entered the contest after beating Sri Lanka by 37 runs on October 18. The victory gave the hosts an encouraging start to the tournament ahead of their meeting with England. The series features Pakistan, England and Sri Lanka, with matches scheduled in Rawalpindi and Lahore until October 31.
