A team of investigators are probing a possible tornado that struck in Orange County.
The National Weather Service’s San Diego office is sending a team to look into the potential twister amid reports of damage at the San Clemente Golf Course, NBC Los Angeles reported.
The news comes as weather experts warned this week of the first significant storm this season amid powerful El Niño conditions.
The wetter-than-normal season caused concern over possible tornadoes in Southern California, with the risk even higher in neighboring Arizona, meteorologists said.
