Artiste to play for Kuala Lumpur in 2027
Hot on the heels of her already-acclaimed new album Pylon, music icon Beabadoobee (Beatrice Laus) is returning to Kuala Lumpur on March 30, 2027 at Zepp KL for The Powerlines Tour, marking her first-ever headline show in Malaysia.
Having previously performed in Kuala Lumpur as part of a festival, Beabadoobee now returns to the city to headline her very own show, giving Malaysian fans the chance to experience her latest era live and up close.
Pylon features contributions from a host of artistes that teenage Beabadoobee could once only dream of collaborating with but now finds herself working alongside as peers, including Hayley Williams, Turnstile singer Brendan Yates, Pinegrove’s Evan Stephens Hall, Deftones’s Chino Moreno and Title Fight’s Shane Moran.
From rising alternative star to global music icon
Born in the Philippines and raised in London, Beabadoobee emerged as a British alternative music icon across three acclaimed albums and five EPs.
She has garnered multiple BRIT Award and BBC Sound Of nominations and won NME’s Radar award, whilst amassing over 10 billion streams worldwide and more than 12 million followers across her social channels.
Pylon debuted at number one on the UK Official Albums Chart and the Aria Albums Chart in Australia – and at number seven on the US Billboard 200.
The album follows This is How Tomorrow Moves, her first record to reach number one on the UK Official Albums Chart in 2024, as well as her UK Top 10 albums Beatopia in 2022 and Fake It Flowers in 2020.
General public tickets go on sale from tomorrow onwards. Ticket prices range from RM358 to RM818.
