Noel Clarke, the British actor who starred in Doctor Who and Kidulthood, has pleaded not guilty to a series of sexual offenses.
London’s Metropolitan Police said in September that Clarke had been charged with two counts of sexual assault, three charges of voyeurism, and one count of exposure. The alleged offenses took place between 2007 and 2016, involving five women.
Clarke appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday. He pleaded not guilty to all the charges and will next appear at Southwark Crown Court on November 18, according to BBC News.
Detectives had been investigating Clarke for a year, arresting the actor on September 25, 2025.
He has not worked in the entertainment industry in any substantial on-screen capacity for years. He played Mickey Smith in Doctor Who, while his last series on UK television was ITV’s Viewpoint in 2021.
Clarke created hit indie movie Kidulthood and had roles in other productions, including Star Trek Into Darkness and Bulletproof.
