Gold Kinen Technologies Limited has won the Fintech Innovation of the Year award in the Tech category at the 4th Bangladesh Fintech Awards 2026 for its technology-driven gold savings platform.
The company received the award for its innovation, “Democratising Gold Saving: Technology-Enabled Financial Inclusion for Bangladesh.” It also earned an Honorable Mention in the Financial Inclusion category for its initiative, “Making Gold Accessible: A New Path to Financial Inclusion.”
Gold Kinen’s three founders—Kamran Sunjoy Rahman, CEO and Co-Founder; Rafatul Bari Labib, CCO and Co-Founder; and Atef Hasan Isa, CFO and Co-Founder—received the awards.
This marks the second consecutive year the company has been recognised at the Bangladesh Fintech Awards. In 2025, Gold Kinen received an Honorable Mention in the Fintech Start-up of the Year category at the third edition of the awards.
The latest recognition highlights the company’s efforts to use technology to expand access to gold savings and promote financial inclusion in Bangladesh.
Gold Kinen operates a technology-enabled platform that allows customers to buy and save 22-karat hallmarked and certified gold in fractional amounts, starting from Tk 500 at the official market price.
Customers can gradually accumulate gold according to their financial capacity and later collect their savings as gold bars and coins in denominations ranging from 0.5 grams to 10 grams.
By allowing people to start saving with relatively small amounts, the platform aims to make gold savings more accessible to different income groups.
The recognition comes as Gold Kinen continues its nationwide gold-saving campaign featuring actor Mosharraf Karim. The campaign seeks to bring gold savings into broader public discussion and encourage more people to consider the practice as part of their personal savings habits.
The company said the awards would further encourage its efforts to make gold savings affordable, accessible and convenient for people across Bangladesh.
