IT Consultants PLC, the operator of the Q-Cash electronic payment network, reported a 14.09% year-on-year decline in profit for the fiscal year that ended on 30 June, as financial constraints at member banks weighed on business activity and transaction volumes.
The company's earnings per share (EPS) fell to Tk3.11 in FY26 from Tk3.62 in the previous fiscal year, according to price-sensitive information approved by its board of directors yesterday (11 October).
Despite the decline in profit, the board recommended a 10% cash dividend, equivalent to Tk1 per ordinary share of Tk10 each, for FY26, down from 12% in FY25. The record date for determining shareholders' eligibility for the dividend has been set for 4 November.
In its disclosure, the company said revenue from service and maintenance charges and transaction sales came under pressure during the year. Financial constraints faced by several member commercial banks affected their business operations, reducing transaction processing volumes.
IT Consultants operates the Q-Cash electronic transaction processing network, connecting 37 banks and more than 6,000 branches across the country.
The company's net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) also declined 18.88% year on year to Tk3.61 in FY26 from Tk4.45 in FY25.
However, its net asset value (NAV) per share rose to Tk25.16 as of 30 June 2026, up from Tk23.25 a year earlier.
The company will seek shareholders' approval for its financial statements and dividend proposal at its annual general meeting (AGM) scheduled for 13 December.
