The Adamawa Renewed Hope 226 Movement (ARH-226M) has inaugurated coordinators for the state’s 21 local government areas as part of preparations to mobilise grassroots support for All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in the 2027 general elections.
The inauguration took place at a meeting led by the movement’s Director-General, Professor Liman Tukur, and Secretary, Hon. Chiwaren E. Abubakar, who also serves as Special Adviser to the Governor on Revenue.
Both officials were appointed by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the movement’s Grand Patron. Key state-level managers were also inaugurated during the meeting.
The local government coordinators, designated as ARH-226M Ambassadors, are expected to strengthen the movement’s presence across their respective areas and coordinate grassroots mobilisation.
During the meeting, Tukur and his executive team outlined the movement’s operational structure and issued strategic guidelines to the newly inaugurated officials.
The movement said its objective was to support the election of APC candidates at all levels, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu; Alhaji Ahmed Tijjani Galadima for Governor of Adamawa State; Governor Fintiri for the Adamawa North senatorial seat; Comrade Mustapha Salihu for Adamawa Central; and Hon. Felix Tangwami for Adamawa South.
Its mobilisation efforts will also cover the party’s candidates for the eight House of Representatives seats and 25 State House of Assembly seats in Adamawa.
The movement described the appointment of the coordinators as a step towards building an organised grassroots network and ensuring coordinated campaign activities across the state.
