Following the Oct. 14 release of the Midnight Fever colorway of the Caitlin 1s, Nike dropped its latest advertisement to promote the former Hawkeye's signature shoe. In perfect comedic fashion, it captures a part of Caitlin Clark's character.
In the newest short-form ad, actor Nick Offerman narrates a line describing how Caitlin Clark can easily dismantle opposing defensive schemes on the basketball court but cannot figure out where a loose screw fits in an office bookshelf.
"Nothing special to see here. Just someone who can dismantle a defensive scheme in seconds, but has absolutely no idea where this screw goes," Offerman narrates
At the end of Offerman's dialogue, the top shelf of the nearly completed bookshelf falls to the ground, with Clark saying "Oops", as the ad pans out to show the "Midnight Fever" colorway Caitlin 1s.

The next Caitlin 1 colorway is the green-and-black Halloween shade, scheduled to release on Oct. 23. Along with the black, ghost green, mint foam, and racer blue hues, the shoe also features elements that allow the pair to glow in the dark.
