Although their performance left a lot to be desired, Real Madrid still got a morale-boosting win in their favorite competition, the UEFA Champions League, against AS Roma in their last competitive fixture. After going down 3-1 at one point in the second half, the Merengues fought back to get a 3-4 win.
Following this game in Italy, Los Blancos are now set to return to action at the Santiago Bernabeu, where they will host Sevilla for their next La Liga game. Jose Mourinho’s side will be keen to build up on their wins against Villarreal and Roma, especially as they are already six points behind FC Barcelona, and have an El Clasico scheduled for the next week.
As a result, Real Madrid have announced a strong squad for tonight’s game. The most notable addition to this list is that of Eder Militao, who returns to availability after yet another long-term injury. However, having been out for quite a long time, it remains to be seen if he will get any minutes in this match. Meanwhile, his compatriot, Vinicius Junior is unavailable for this match as he is serving a four match suspension.
