The Prince and Princess of Wales have marked the end of Baby Loss Awareness Week with a poignant photo on social media.
The royals shared an image of a lit candle to honour the campaign, simply writing: "Marking Baby Loss Awareness Week #WaveOfLight."
The Wave of Light campaign is a global remembrance event held annually on October 15 at 7:00 PM local time to honor babies who died during pregnancy, stillbirth, neonatal death, or infancy.
Participants light a candle at 7:00 PM in their local time zone and leave it burning for at least one hour; as 7:00 PM moves across each time zone from west to east, a continuous "wave" of lit candles circles the globe, symbolizing love, remembrance, and solidarity.

Members of the royal family have been open about their experiences of baby loss, including the Duchess of Edinburgh.
In December 2001, Sophie had to be airlifted from Bagshot Park to King Edward VII Hospital in London for emergency surgery after suffering a life-threatening ectopic pregnancy at roughly six weeks pregnant
Speaking to reporters outside of the hospital at the time, her husband Prince Edward said: "It's obviously a very traumatic time and my wife has… It's quite the most painful thing anyone can undergo.

"It's a pretty traumatic experience. As the pain reduces, so the relief will increase. I want to add my thanks to all the medical team who have done a fantastic job and reacted so quickly and have handled things so professionally."
Sophie, then 36, issued a brief statement from the hospital, which said: "I am obviously very sad but it was just not meant to be. But there will be other chances. The nurses have been unbelievably fantastic."
The couple went on to welcome two children - Lady Louise and James, Earl of Wessex, who are now 22 and 18, respectively.
Zara Tindall and Meghan Markle have also been open about their experiences, with the latter speaking of her loss in an open letter for the New York Times.
