Riyadh – Saudi Arabia has called on civilians to evacuate the site of the Yemeni oil company, the "Al-Sabaha Central Station" in Sana'a, for their safety, in preparation for a special operation.
Saudi Ministry of Defense spokesman, Major General Turki al-Maliki, said in a statement on his "X" platform that the evacuation order includes the location specified on the map attached to the statement.
Al-Maliki had previously announced that a warning would be issued to civilians to evacuate a site in Sana'a, with the aim of carrying out a special operation.
On Monday, Saudi Arabia announced the interception and destruction of a ballistic missile launched by the Houthi group towards Riyadh.
Earlier, al-Maliki vowed a firm response to the Houthi attack that targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation extended the suspension of operations at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on Monday, following the attacks that targeted it.
For its part, the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) urged airlines to exercise caution when traveling to or transiting Saudi airspace due to risks associated with military activity and interference with navigation systems.
The US Embassy in Riyadh announced that US government employees will now be required to obtain special authorization before using any airport in Saudi Arabia, expanding existing precautionary measures amid escalating Houthi attacks on the Kingdom's airports.
