Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers’s 6-yard game-winning touchdown pass to Germie Bernard to defeat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was historic, as he tied Peyton Manning for third all-time in NFL touchdown passes in the regular season with 539.
Only Tom Brady (649) and Drew Brees (571) have thrown more touchdown passes.
Rodgers has now thrown 583 career TD passes (including postseason), the third most in NFL history. He surpassed Manning for that record last week.

Rodgers has reached several major NFL milestones this season.
With last week’s win over the Indianapolis Colts, he surpassed Ben Roethlisberger with 166 career wins.
The only quarterbacks with more wins are Brady (251), Brett Favre (186), Manning (186) and Drew Brees (171).
Rodgers surpassed Roethlisberger (64,088) on the career passing yards list last season. He now sits fifth all time, while Roethlisberger has dropped to seventh.
Rodgers reached another significant milestone last Sunday. With throwing three touchdown passes against the Colts, Rodgers joined Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw as the only quarterbacks in Steelers history to throw three touchdown passes in three consecutive weeks within a season.
Rodgers hasn’t thrown three or more touchdown passes in three straight games since his MVP season of 2021.
Bradshaw accomplished the feat in 1982, which was a strike year, so it wasn’t three consecutive weeks. Bradshaw started the season with three touchdown passes in each of the Steelers’ first two games, wins over the Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals. The Steelers didn’t play their next game until Nov. 21 because of the strike. Bradshaw threw three touchdowns in the first game back, defeating the Houston Oilers.
