The REDTIGER VP40 dash cam is down to $229.99 on Amazon right now, which cuts $70 off its $299.99 recommended retail price. That’s a 23% discount off the RRP, and it makes this a good time to grab a dash cam built to record more angles than the usual front-and-rear setup.
The VP40 is a 4-channel model with four rotatable wide-angle lenses that cover the front, rear, left, and right sides of your car for near-full 360-degree recording. That broad view can be a big plus if you want more video coverage around your vehicle while driving or parked.
REDTIGER says the camera uses dual Sony STARVIS 2 sensors and can record up to 2.5K on two channels, plus 1080p on the other two. It also includes IR night-vision help with 8 IR lights to improve cabin and side visibility in darker conditions. Other features include 5.8GHz Wi-Fi, GPS, voice control, a touchscreen, and 24-hour parking monitoring.
Another nice extra is the included 128GB memory card, so you’re not starting from scratch when it arrives. For drivers who want wider video coverage and stronger night recording than a basic dash cam can offer, this deal brings the REDTIGER VP40 down well below its usual list price.
