Toronto Police arrested another individual during the ongoing protest against bike lane removal in Etobicoke.
On Monday at approximately 1:15 p.m., police were in the area of Bloor St. W and Islington Ave. for a demonstration.
As road work was underway to remove curb barriers from the bike lanes, police allege the suspect entered the bike lane and sat on one of the curb barriers, interfering with its removal.
Police also say they cautioned the individual multiple times, providing him with an opportunity to leave the area. Cops say he refused to comply.
He was arrested at the scene.
Prajjwal Rajawat, 29, of Toronto, was charged with obstructing police and mischief interfering with property.
Rajawat is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 11. Rajawat is the fourth person to be arrested in connection with the demonstration.

Sequence of events
Last Tuesday, the planned removal of the bike lanes along Bloor was cancelled as protestors interfered with the work of road crews. Eventually, the workers left the scene as protestors cheered, “get home safe.”
Hours before workers left the scene, cycling activist and lawyer David Shellnut said demonstrations would continue “every single night that they plan construction here.”
The following morning at a press conference, Toronto Police Chief Myron Demkiw warned arrests could be made if demonstrators continued to interfere with the planned removals of the bike lanes.
“That is lawful work that is going to continue,” Demkiw told reporters.
Two people were arrested not long after the police chief uttered those words.
Nina Thi Thi Tran, of Hamilton, was arrested for obstructing a peace officer and mischief interfering with property on Wednesday afternoon and Khoa Thanh Phan, of Toronto, was charged with mischief interfering with lawful use of property and theft under $5,000 Wednesday night.
Both will make court appearances in January of next year.
And two-time Canadian Paralympian Aly Vanwyck-Smart was charged with mischief interfering with the lawful use of property and obstructing a peace officer last Thursday afternoon.
Vanwyck-Smart is scheduled to appear in court in January of next year.
