KUALA LUMPUR: Foodie Media Bhd's net profit surged 67.7 per cent to RM15.67 million in its first full financial year as an ACE Market-listed company.
For the financial year ended Aug 31, 2026, Foodie Media's revenue rose 49.6 per cent to RM55.49 million from RM37.09 million a year earlier.
The revenue growth outpaced expansion in the company's digital content, influencer marketing and events business.
For the fourth quarter, its net profit surged more than tenfold to RM4.55 million from RM433,000 a year earlier, while revenue rose 82.5 per cent to a record RM15.82 million from RM8.67 million.
Foodie Media said the quarterly growth was driven by its content, creator and community businesses, supported by stronger demand for sponsored content, key opinion leader (KOL) marketing campaigns and events.
Its content segment recorded a 28.8 per cent increase in full-year revenue to RM30.4 million, while the creator segment grew 59.8 per cent to RM13.6 million.
The community segment was the fastest-growing, with revenue expanding more than sevenfold to RM7.1 million from RM1 million a year earlier, following its inaugural Monie Fest and a fuller events calendar.
Meanwhile, the commerce segment recorded a 10.6 per cent increase in revenue to RM4.4 million.
According to Foodie Media, the combined contribution of its contributing segments rose to 45.3 per cent of total revenue in FY26, from 36.4 per cent previously.
Foodie Media announced a second interim dividend of 0.39 sen per share and a second special dividend of 0.61 sen per share, bringing total dividends for FY26 to 1.53 sen per share, amounting to about RM13.6 million.
Foodie Media chief executive officer Nicholas Lim Pinn Yang said FY26 marked its first full financial year as a listed company, with record revenue and profit supported by growth across all four business pillars.
"Just as importantly, creator, commerce and community now make up close to half of group revenue, which tells us the 4C model is working as intended," he added.
Foodie Media remains positive on its prospects for FY27, supported by the continued shift in advertising expenditure from traditional media to digital and social platforms.
The group said it would continue expanding content production, its KOL network, affiliate commerce and events, while extending its services to new brand clients.
