John Lewis has just launched Anya Life with British designer Anya Hindmarch. Featuring fun and fabulous mugs, teapots, egg cups and an exclusive bauble, it’s everything you need to start gearing up for Christmas 2026.
Anya Hindmarch’s recycled plastic totes have become a cult favourite over the years. But other than their sustainable appeal and the bright colourway, what is it about the flagship Universal tote that we love so much? It’s all in the eyes.
The Anya eyes of the design world have become a recognisable status symbol. And at John Lewis, homeware is personified with these googlies.
We’re all looking to add a bit more personality into our homes, and what better way than having a bone china butter dish that’s eyeing up your toaster or a china teapot that’s checking out your teabag selection.
This home and lifestyle collection has launched in John Lewis at just the right time. As we begin gearing up for Christmas, there’s only one thought on my mind – decorations.

The collection features an exclusive metallic green bauble that has a signature sense of playfulness and creativity that only Anya Hindmarch can achieve. There are also elevated Christmas crackers and gift inspiration from a set of happy and grumpy mugs to a sunglasses pouch.
My favourite piece from the collection? The soy sauce candle. With notes of neroli, saffron, patchouli, amber and vanilla, I’m desperate to know how close to the real deal this is. There’s also a nostalgic Heinz candle for any ketchup lovers and a Coca-Cola candle.
The collection is available in 10 John Lewis stores across the UK, from Oxford Street to Leeds, or you can order online via the John Lewis website.

“I’m very excited to launch Anya Life at John Lewis,” Hindmarch says. “The collection came about so organically, creating little pieces to animate a home or a desk, and John Lewis feels like a natural home for it.”
If you’re looking for more Christmassy pieces to shop, check out the Anya Hindmarch shop online for Duracell battery charms you can stick in a wreath or a Haribo Goldbear charm to hang on your tree.
But if you’re anything like me, you’ll be heading to Oxford Circus to see the Christmas lights soon, and I will be using it as an excuse to head into John Lewis and lose time browsing the entire collection.
Collection is available now at John Lewis.
