As expected from its teaser last week, Nothing's CMF has launched a couple of new products today. Meet the CMF Speakers S&M. These are the first portable speakers from CMF, and they both come with an "expressive geometric design", Bluetooth 6.0, IP68 dust and water resistance, as well as Stereo Mode and Party Mode for multi-speaker listening. Stereo Mode requires two identical speakers, while Party Mode is basically Auracast by a different name so it can work with two or more compatible speakers, including those from other brands.

The smaller CMF Speaker S has a "custom-tuned" 45mm full-range driver and dual passive radiators, delivering up to 10W RMS and sporting a frequency response of 70Hz to 20kHz. The larger CMF Speaker M has a dedicated 25W woofer and a 10W tweeter, for 35W RMS output and a frequency response of 60Hz to 20kHz.
Both employ an adaptive Tuning algorithm that "continuously analyzes playback and optimizes output and EQ in real-time", the company says. You can also select an Ultra Bass mode, or a Wide Soundstage mode, and pick from four custom EQ presets - Balanced, More Bass, More Treble, and Voice - via the Nothing X app.
Both speakers support NFC tap-to-pair, Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair, dual device connectivity (to keep one speaker linked to two sources at the same time), and they also come with USB-C audio built-in. On the devices, a tactile knob handles playback, track navigation, volume, and toggling Ultra Bass, and there are dedicated buttons for power, Bluetooth pairing, and Auracast.
Both speakers can go for up to 18 hours of playback on a single charge at 50% volume with Ultra Bass on, while a 10-minute charge will be good for an hour of listening. Both speakers will be available in white, turquoise, dark grey, and orange.
The CMF Speaker S will go for $59, while the CMF Speaker M will cost $109. Sales open today at Nothing's online store and "select partners".
