On October 12, 2026, the rapper’s father, who goes by Papabardi on social media, shared a video showing his famous daughter hard at work scrubbing the floor.
In the clip, Cardi B is bent over, vigorously cleaning the floor while her father stands nearby with a garden hose, directing water across the area.
Dining chairs have been placed on top of a table to protect them from the water, while other seats have been moved aside. Her mother is also seen helping move furniture as the family works together.
A baby girl can be seen playing near Papabardi, adding to the relaxed family atmosphere.
The moment offered fans a glimpse of Cardi B away from the red carpets and international stages, showing her taking part in an ordinary household chore on her birthday.
Cardi B keeps it real on her 34th birthday
The video quickly attracted attention online, with many fans saying they loved seeing the award-winning rapper helping her family despite her success.
Having sold millions of records and performed for audiences around the world, Cardi B is known for her bold personality and glamorous public appearances. However, the birthday video showed a different side of the star.
For many viewers, the scene was familiar. Helping clean at a family home, particularly at a grandparent’s house, is a tradition that many people across Caribbean communities recognise regardless of age or status.
