Los Angeles Rams WR Davante Adams had five receptions for 51 yards and two touchdowns versus the Buffalo Bills in Week 5. Adams was targeted seven times.
Why It Matters: Adams again did excellent work near the goal line, scoring twice to move into a tie with Larry Fitzgerald for sixth place on the all-time list for touchdown receptions. He was barely used between the 20s, however, which is a weird look considering how dominant he was when Puka Nacua missed two games early on with an injury. That proved Adams is still capable of putting up WR1 numbers, but his usage when Nacua is healthy dictates that the future Hall of Famer be viewed as more of a midrange WR2 that's heavily reliant on scoring touchdowns to deliver value.
