Travis Kelce’s beer brand just secured a huge financial deal to help promote its popular brew. On Tuesday, Travis and his brother Jason Kelce’s Garage Beer brand secured a $20 million revolving credit from Tiger Finance, according to a release.
The funding comes at a time when the independent beer industry has been facing many challenges. The rise in operation costs, slowing business openings, and declines in sales have forced many breweries to close down or refinance. But this celebrity-backed brand is only seeing success.
Andy Cerussi, the senior managing director of Tiger Finance, said in the release that the company is thrilled to have been chosen as the preferred financial partner, saying that the company is “impressed with [the] impact the Kelce brothers have had on positively influencing brand awareness.”
Brian Amicon, president of Garage Beer, told Inc. that as the company continues to grow, this financing allows it greater flexibility.
Refreshed leadership advice from CEO Stephanie Mehta
“From strengthening our distribution to investing in the brand and creating more opportunities to connect with consumers, it puts us in a strong position to keep building what we’ve started,” Amicon told Inc. “We’re proud of the progress we’ve made and excited to keep pushing forward.”
A $20 million bet on Garage Beer’s brand strength
The debt deal allows Garage Beer to expand its product line and enter new markets. At $20 million, the financing sits on the smaller side of the funding spectrum—in the bottom quarter of deals tracked, according to Deal Room. But for a consumer company like a beer line, debt against brand strength gives growth capital without diluting equity. This revolving line will give Garage Beer flexible access to capital tied to its brand value.
The Columbus, Ohio based brand originally launched as a local craft light lager by Braxton Brewing Co., but was spun off into an independent company in 2023 by its CEO Andry Sauer. According to Vine Pair, the Kelce brothers joined Garage Beer in the summer of 2024 by acquiring a majority stake and becoming co-owners and operators. This move rapidly boosted the brand’s national visibility. In late 2025, Durational Capital Management announced its strategic investment partnership with the company.
