A select few games have earned a glowing 10/10 review score from IGN so far this year, but Forza Horizon 6 has made its way into that exclusive bunch. If you've been itching to pick up this new installment in the series - which IGN's Luke Reilly called a "new standard in open-world racing" in his review - Amazon and Walmart have dropped deals on select Xbox Series X versions that are well worth taking advantage of.
Both retailers have knocked 40% off the standard physical edition's price, dropping it down to $42, but Walmart's offering an especially nice discount on the digital premium edition as well. Normally priced at $119.99, it's available to buy for $59.99 instead there right now, which is a massive 50% discount.
Save 40% on Forza Horizon 6 – Xbox Series X Standard Edition (Physical)
These deal prices also mark the lowest price points we've seen so far for both the physical edition and the digital premium edition at each retailer. If you've been waiting for the game to get a price cut before buying it, this is an excellent time to grab it.
Save 50% on Forza Horizon 6 – Xbox Series X Premium Edition (Digital)
For less than the standard edition's usual cost, there's a ton of extras you get alongside the main game with this premium edition deal. These include Car Pass, two expansions, VIP Membership, the Welcome Pack, the Time Attack Car Pack, and the Italian Passion Car Pack.
As for when the first expansion will be released, that's expected to be out on January 26, which is also when the game will be dropping on PlayStation 5. If you're hoping to grab it for that platform instead, check out our Forza Horizon 6 PS5 preorder guide to secure a copy.
No matter the platform you decide to play it on, you'll be in for a thrilling ride. To carry on from the 10/10 review above, Reilly said "it’s the best-looking and best-sounding game Playground has produced to date, set in the most wonderfully realised map it’s ever crafted – full of dense, authentic details and stunning driving roads." If that's made you eager to jump in, be quick to take advantage of these deals at Amazon and Walmart before they're gone.
