POPE Leo XIV revealed during his Sunday Angelus address that doctors had detected a localized nodule in his lung and recommended surgery in the coming days.
The Pope said the nodule was discovered at a very early stage and is well localized.
In a video published by Vatican News, the Pope said that he would follow his doctors’ advice and undergo the procedure.
Pope Leo XIV also thanked the faithful for their spiritual support and asked for their prayers ahead of the surgery. (SunStar Cebu)
