DWP benefit crackdown warning as new rule for over 7million households now in force

The UK Government has introduced new rules giving banks the power to share targeted financial information with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to help identify incorrect benefit payments — affecting over 7 million households claiming Universal Credit, Pension Credit and other benefits.
