Three Underdog picks for Friday
There are other games on the sports calendar Friday, but I will be locked into the World Series. Here are picks I am making:
Player | Projection | My pick |
Jacob Misiorowski, MIL | 6.5 Strikeouts | Higher |
Junior Caminero, TB | 0.5 Home Runs | Lower |
William Contreras, MIL | 1.5 Total Bases | Higher |
Milwaukee has had a long layoff before the start of the series, but American Family Field is sure to be electric with Misiorowski on the mound. Even in relatively short starts he can pile up Ks.
Caminero finally hit his first home run of the postseason Monday, but I think he'll be kept in the yard in Game 1, due to the Brewers’ stable of strong pitching options.
Contreras, on the other hand, has been coming up clutch in the playoffs, so I am going to ride that trend.
