Guwahati, October 14: Film director Rajesh Bhuyan appeared before the fast-track court on Wednesday to record his testimony in the ongoing Zubeen Garg death case.
The witness deposition process is continuing as judicial proceedings move forward in the high-profile case concerning the death of the renowned Assamese singer.
Meanwhile, Amritprava Mahanta, an accused in the case, was released on bail from Haflong sub-jail in Assam’s Dima Hasao district on Tuesday. Her family members were present to receive her following her release.
The Gauhati High Court granted Mahanta bail on October 9 on a bond of Rs 50,000, along with two sureties of the same amount.
