Ichechi, the wife of the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nedcomoaks Group, Kennedy Okonkwo, popularly known as Dr Ned, has thrown him a surprise birthday party as he clocked 49.
The celebration, held in Lekki, Lagos, brought together friends, associates and entertainers to celebrate the real estate entrepreneur in an evening of music, socialising and camaraderie.
Among the personalities spotted at the gathering were nightlife entrepreneur and socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest; and media personality, Daddy Freeze.
Videos from the event showed guests seated around elegantly decorated tables. Floral arrangements, gold accents and strings of warm lights added to the festive atmosphere.
Okonkwo established Nedcomoaks in 2007 and has since built a business portfolio centred on real estate development, with interests in other sectors. His wife is also an entrepreneur and sits atop Victoria Crest Homes, one of the group’s businesses.
The couple has established a presence in Nigeria’s business and social circles, with their professional interests extending beyond their family life.
The surprise party provided an opportunity for friends and associates to celebrate the businessman’s milestone birthday in a relaxed atmosphere.
