Prince William revealed his current favorite television show is “The Celebrity Traitors” in a history-making appearance on “The Graham Norton Show” Friday.
“I love it, the family love it,” the Prince of Wales said about the BBC One competition show hosted by Claudia Winkleman.
“Charlotte and Louis are obsessed with it. It’s really good telly,” William, 44, shared with Norton.
Prince William joined Cate Blanchett, Hannah Waddingham, Robert Irwin and Jorja Smith in a surprise appearance on the British talk show.
William revealed that he enjoys unwinding with “music and film” in his downtime from royal duties, saying, “I love getting immersed in deep-thinking films.”
“I like action films too, but I like something a bit different. I’m a big fan of everything Christopher Nolan does.”
“His films [are] fantastic – ‘The Dark Knight’ series is psychologically dark and deep, and I absolutely love that,” the Prince of Wales shared before adding, “He takes concepts that are completely out there and makes them incredibly entertaining.”
William appeared on the show to discuss The Earthshot Prize, which he founded in 2020. The award was founded to “celebrate and scale the solutions that will repair our planet by 2030.”
During the show, the future king shared how the award began, saying, “For many years I was hearing stories about environment issues and one thing that struck me was the negativity and doom which got me down.”
“I thought we could do something more powerful and more optimistic and the idea of an awards’ ceremony came about and we could talk about urgency and optimism together. It’s all about getting excited.”
“There are some amazing people out there doing things to protect the world,” the Prince of Wales added. “We could really highlight what is being done and scale them to the next level to have more impact around the world.”
Prince William recently stepped up to take on more royal duties amid his father’s battle with cancer.
William took the place of King Charles in welcoming the Sultan of Oman on Tuesday at the start of his state visit to the UK.
The Prince of Wales greeted Haitham bin Tariq al-Said in London before accompanying him to Windsor, where he was officially welcomed by Charles and Queen Camila at the Royal Dais on Datchet Road.
