Kolokoltsev arrived in Pakistan on Monday for a four-day visit at Naqvi’s invitation. The visit marks the first time a Russian interior minister has visited Pakistan, according to the report. He also stressed joint action against organised crime, including terrorism, drug smuggling and illegal migration.
The meeting included Minister of State Tallal Chaudhry, the Russian ambassador and senior officials from both countries. The talks come as Pakistan and Russia continue to develop economic and energy ties. In 2023, Pakistan began importing Russian crude oil, while both countries have also discussed broader cooperation in trade and energy.
