The platform has been installed on an on-premise basis and has been developed in partnership with tech provider Farsight.
According to the bank, the platform will enable it to apply AI to a range of data-related processes, such as internal document management, without that data ever having to leave the bank's walls.
The on-premise installation will also give the bank greater control over sensitive data and to tailor the platform to its own processes and standards.
“Our teams have very specific standards for what goes in front of a client, and those standards vary from group to group," said George Tierney, managing director and global chief operating officer for M&A at Deutsche Bank.
“The platform gives our teams a way to apply AI to their own workflows and materials while operating within Deutsche Bank's technology environment. That combination of control and customisation is critical to making AI work in a global, regulated enterprise like Deutsche Bank.”
