Recording youth and amateur sports can be labor-intensive. Someone always ends up stuck behind a camera, missing the actual game while trying to keep up with the action, often capturing shaky video at best. The XbotGo Falcon is a 4K AI sports camera that helps automate the process so you can easily capture footage — even without a subscription. The device has two cameras and tracks the game on its own, so you don't have to touch it once it's set up. You can finally enjoy the moment and obtain quality video.
Dual-camera setup built for every field
XbotGo Falcon
- XbotGo
- 1/1.8" (Sony IMX678)
The XbotGo Falcon sports camera can record an entire field and focus on the action hands-free with AI-led motion tracking. The device has a dual-camera setup, records in 4K, pans 360 degrees, and more.
- 4K (or 1080p at 60fps)
- 9,600mAh (up to 4.5 hours)
- IPX5
- Dual-camera system (1 tracking lens + 1 recording lens)
- 20GB free cloud storage (supports external storage up to 1TB)
- 360 degree pan, 160 degree tilt
The XbotGo Falcon has two separate lenses, each with one job. One lens handles all the tracking, constantly scanning the field and following the play. The other lens, built around a Sony IMX678 sensor, just records in full 4K.
Keeping those two tasks separate means the camera never has to choose between tracking smoothly and recording cleanly, which is the problem with cheaper single-lens systems; they stutter or drop frames when things get busy.
The 6-TOPS AI processor is what coordinates all of that. It reads what's happening on the field in real time. So when there's a break, change of direction, or a crowd of players moving together, it keeps up with the action.
The camera moves on a motorized mount that can swing a full 360 degrees side to side and tilt from ground level to the sky, offering about 160 degrees of vertical range. As the AI tracks the play, the mount moves automatically to keep the shot correctly framed. You don't have to press a single button or touch a setting. No operator needed. You just set it up, and it handles the rest.
Permanent access to core features without expensive subscriptions
It's already really expensive to buy all the equipment required for sports teams, but adding the cost of decent recording gear can add to a growing bottom line. Separate from the initial hardware cost, most club cameras charge you a yearly subscription just to unlock basic features like 4K video and player tracking. It adds up fast, and it puts professional-quality video out of reach for many.
The XbotGo Falcon takes a different approach. You buy it once, and the core features are yours forever. You don't need a subscription to unlock any of it either. Features like 4K recording, auto-tracking, manual zoom, and Auto Zoom all work right after you set it up. You also get free live streaming with RTMP support, so anyone who can't make it to the stands can watch from home.
After the game, the Falcon can automatically back up footage to the cloud while it charges, so you never have to worry about losing an important match to a corrupted memory card.
Auto Zone Mapping is one of the more impressive features; it lets you draw the field boundaries in one tap. The whole setup takes about 30 seconds, and from there the camera handles everything on its own. That's really how it knows what to focus on.
Multi-sport versatility and hands-free tracking modes
The XbotGo Falcon works on pretty much any field, court, or pitch. It has over 10 sport-specific modes built in, so there's no need to worry about the most common sports, like soccer, football, or basketball. It adjusts on its own, so it's great for any family with kids in multiple sports. The system employs deep-learning computer vision to anticipate game flow and keep key action centered automatically during live play.
The Falcon also has a Follow Me mode for individual players. You pick a subject, and the camera locks onto them and keeps them in frame the whole time. This is really useful for solo training, one-on-one coaching, and drilling specific skills.
The idea is that when younger players can watch themselves play, they learn faster and get better over time. On the coaching side, the Falcon includes a built-in scoreboard and post-match analysis tools powered by AI.
Coaches can use the footage to show players where they were positioned, break down plays, and adjust based on how each kid learns. The footage is sharp enough that referees can use it to go back and review their own calls.
Through the XbotGo app, the newly launched Pro Soccer feature provides post-match tactical analysis, delivering individual player movement heat maps, key event replays, and shareable highlights within 24 hours.
Free live streaming and seamless sideline connectivity
Many youth and amateur sports organizations never broadcast their games, which means those not present just miss out. Filming team sports has been a pain, so it's easy to see why it's not as common to stream a game. Players move fast, and fields are big, so the camera operator would have to run the whole time. For a volunteer-run rec league, that's just not realistic.
The XbotGo Falcon streams live in HD to pretty much any platform you already use. There's also a floating window feature that lets you keep the stream running in the background while you use your phone for other things. So, you can check scores or message other parents if needed.
XbotGo also recently partnered with youth sports management platform TeamSnap, which is a big deal for anyone who's ever tried to wrangle a group chat into actually watching a game. Instead of dropping a random stream link and hoping people find it, the Falcon can sync the broadcast directly to the same app you use to manage your season.
So, when game time hits, everyone can open it straight from their app.
The battery holds up, too. You get about 4.5 hours on a single charge, which is enough to get through a doubleheader without stressing about finding an outlet on the sideline.
The easiest way to actually watch a game
The XbotGo Falcon is basically built for sports families who want great footage without working too hard to get it. Setup takes about 30 seconds. You point it, it figures out the field on its own, and then it just follows the action while you watch the game. If you're a parent trying to capture games for yourself or others, or just help your athlete review their performance, it's a solid buy that'll hold up for years.
