Disneyland Partially Shut Down After Suspicious Device Found

A suspicious device found near Disneyland prompted a law enforcement response to the theme park on Monday night.

According to a report in NBC Los Angeles, the Anaheim Police Department said the device was located outside the park near the Esplanade area, which is where shuttles drop off visitors near the Harbor Boulevard.

Social media videos showed security staff directing guests away from the area.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident and details have not yet been released.

Newsweek contacted Disneyland and Anaheim Police Department outside of regular office hours via email on Tuesday morning.
