HTG – Hometown Group has signed five cooperation protocols with specialised companies in interior design, landscaping, façade lighting, and property management and leasing.
The agreements were signed with The Design Avenue, which specialises in interior design for commercial projects; Studio K, for interior design; OKOPLAN Landscaping; Archi Light, part of Three Brothers, for exterior façade lighting; and Namaa, which provides property management, operations, leasing and asset management services.
Diaa El-Din Farag, Chairperson of HTG, said partnerships with specialised companies were central to the group’s strategy to develop integrated real estate projects combining design, construction and operations.
He said the group aims to strengthen its market presence by developing projects that respond to changing market requirements and create long-term value for customers and investors.
Tarek Bahaa, CEO of HTG, said the group’s strategy for the next five years is based on six priorities: meeting delivery commitments, completing projects under construction, operating completed developments, improving the customer experience, maintaining quality standards, and building partnerships to support growth.
He noted that HTG has built a portfolio of nine projects across four areas over the past nine years. The group plans to focus on completing ongoing developments, accelerating construction and improving operational readiness, alongside strengthening management systems to preserve asset quality after delivery.
Mohamed El-Kholy, Chief Commercial Officer at HTG, said the partnerships are intended to support the investment value of the group’s projects by linking real estate quality with market demand and customer expectations.
He added that the performance of commercial developments depends not only on location and design, but also on effective leasing and management systems that attract businesses, improve user experience and support long-term returns.
The partner companies will contribute expertise across several areas.
Tarek Sobhy, Founder and Chairperson of OKOPLAN Landscaping, said the landscaping work would seek to integrate outdoor spaces with each project’s architectural design.
Karim Shoukry, CEO of The Design Avenue & Contracting, said interior design plays a role beyond aesthetics, influencing the functionality of commercial spaces and their ability to attract brands and customers.
Karim Helal, CEO of Studio K, said the company would focus on designs that balance visual appeal and practical requirements while reflecting the needs of individual projects.
George Michael of Archi Light said architectural lighting helps highlight building features and establish a project’s visual identity, with implementation taking into account technical requirements and efficiency.
Karim Ghoneim, Chairperson of Namaa Experiences, said professional management, operations and leasing are important to maintaining asset quality and attracting tenants, particularly in commercial and administrative developments.
He added that the partnership would focus on improving operating systems and maximising the use of real estate assets.
Founded in 2017, Hometown Developments has projects across commercial, administrative and residential segments, including Zaha Park, Lafayette Mall, Udora Mall and Lafayette Village in the New Capital. Its residential portfolio includes Home Residence in Sixth Settlement, Canyon 8 in the New Capital and West Gardens in Assiut.
The company is now operating under the HTG – Hometown Group umbrella, with plans to strengthen its organisational structure, integrate its activities and expand its portfolio through strategic partnerships.
