In the latest episode of Rise and Fall Season 2, a dramatic double elimination on Judgement Day shocked the Basement and turned the game completely on its head.
In the ‘Delivering Apna Pan’ challenge, Niharika Tiwari and Swara Bhasker competed for a shot at the crown, with Sara Gurpal playing for Niharika and Manish Kashyap backing Swara.
In the challenge, the four Workers must navigate a delivery chain, with two Workers bound together at the hands passing products to two blindfolded delivery agents, who must then find their way to the customers. The first team to complete six deliveries in the least possible time would win, and would move its contender closer to ultimate power.
Niharika ultimately claimed victory, becoming the first woman as the Ultimate Ruler of the season. Her victory marked a shift in the Tower’s power dynamics, leaving the Workers hopeful that this could be the opportunity they needed to turn the tables on the Rulers. Before leaving, Sara warned Raj, Kaira and Jashwant about Priyanka Chahar Choudhary’s alleged plotting, adding fresh intrigue to the Tower’s alliances. Meanwhile, Niharika and Sara tried to clear the air with Rishabh, hinting at a possible shift in their equation as loyalties continue to shift in the Basement.
Upstairs, the drama took a more personal turn as Shehzad Poonawalla vented his frustrations about Irina Rudakova to Swara Bhasker.
Making his grievances clear, Shehzad said, “Iss behl buddhi ko pata nahi hai mein kaun hu bahar se, Teju bhaiya ka jitna stature hai usse kam mera stature nahi in the world of political debates”.
He later told Sara and Irina about his background, leaving Irina feeling threatened by his remarks. Another confrontation followed, with Shehzad losing his cool and threatening to walk out of the Tower.
Judgement Day arrived with a verdict that could change the fate of the Basement. Kaira, Gautam, Priyanka, Raj and Kajal Raghwani were summoned to the Workshop, where the matkas held the results that determined who moves towards safety and who edges closer to elimination. As the Workers broke open the matkas, the verdicts kept shifting. By the final round, Raj, Kajal and Kaira were in the Danger Zone, and with two Workers set to leave the Tower, the power to decide their fate rests with the Rulers.
Raj was the first to be eliminated, with no Ruler stepping forward to save him. Rishabh and Shehzad backed Kaira, while Niharika, Irina, Sara and Swara chose Kajal, with Sara honouring an earlier promise.
In the end, Kajal was saved, while Raj and Kaira left the Tower, with both breaking down as they bid farewell to the game.
