The migration marks a significant milestone in CLS’s multi-year technology modernization program, providing a stronger foundation for the continued delivery of its critical market infrastructure. The new technology environment strengthens the security, resilience and operational flexibility of CLS’s services while supporting future growth and evolving market and business requirements.
The migration program involved extensive planning and rigorous validation at every stage to ensure the new environment meets the high standards required of a systemically important financial market infrastructure.
“As a critical financial market infrastructure, resilience is fundamental to everything we do,” said Tom Barkhuff, Chief Information Officer, CLS. “Completing this milestone further strengthens the foundation of our services and positions us to continue delivering the operational resilience, security and reliability our settlement members expect. This achievement also reflects the strength of our collaboration with Kyndryl throughout the program.”
“It is an honor that CLS has this level of trust in our technical expertise, operational discipline and delivery capabilities,” said Walter Huber, Managing Partner, Kyndryl. “The completion of this major milestone in CLS’s modernization journey is truly a one-team celebration. Maintaining service quality, cyber resilience and operational reliability remain a top priority in today’s cyberthreat environment.”
