Sky Sport Italia reports that Francesco Camarda will lead Milan’s attack in Thursday’s Europa League game against RB Salzburg, returning to the Rossoneri’s XI alongside Fikayo Tomori.
Camarda and Tomori are expected to start their first Milan game of 2026-27 tomorrow, as the Rossoneri visit RB Salzburg in Europa League Round 2.
Sky: Camarda to start against Salzburg
The Rossoneri already suffered a 2-0 loss against Benfica in the opening league phase game, so they’ll need a result in Austria tomorrow.
At the same time, coach Ruben Amorim will need to rotate the squad, as the Rossoneri will play eight matches in less than a month before the next international break in November.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Italian talent Camarda will start up front, meaning Gonçalo Ramos will likely start on the bench.

The Portuguese forward has begun all of Milan’s seven games across all competitions so far, scoring just one goal.
According to the report, Camarda will join Alphadjo Cissé and Omari Hutchinson in Milan’s front three, while Luka Modric and Ardon Jashari were tried in central midfield during a morning training session.
There will also be changes in defence, particularly after Matteo Gabbia’s injury against Sassuolo over the weekend.

According to Sky, Tomori will start at right-back, replacing Mario Gila, who will rest.
Samuel Chukwueze trained separately today, but he’s part of the team that travelled to Austria on Wednesday afternoon.
Milan coach Ruben Amorim will provide the latest team news during a press conference at 18:30 CET later today.
