For fans of Mike Judge's 1999 cult classic "Office Space," Richard Riehle is well known. In the film, he played Tom Smykowski, the fired product manager who insists he has "social skills."
"An extraordinary actor whose career in theater, film and television spanned nearly five decades and more than 400 projects," his agency wrote in a statement about his death.
Character actor Riehle also appeared for five seasons in the television series "Grounded for Life," where he played the father of Donal Logue's character.
The American actor died on Thursday of what are said to be natural causes.
