League debutants Western United FC played out a goalless draw against Bullom Stars in their Leone Rock Premier League 2026/27 Match Week Two encounter.
Western United, fielding a youthful side, controlled much of the first half and created attacking opportunities but lacked the finishing touch. Bullom Stars relied on long balls down the flanks, but the hosts’ disciplined defence kept the visitors at bay.
After the break, Western United continued to push for a breakthrough, creating several chances. However, Bullom Stars goalkeeper Mohamed Gbelya Kamara made a series of crucial saves to deny the hosts and preserve his team’s clean sheet.
The match ended 0-0, with Kamara earning the Man of the Match award for his outstanding performance. Western United were left to settle for a point despite their attacking efforts.
