Zelensky: Russia Hit Energy Grid 76 Times Since Ceasefire Call

President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that Russian forces carried out 76 targeted strikes against Ukrainian energy and oil-and-gas infrastructure since US President Donald Trump declared an “energy ceasefire” a week ago. Overnight strikes damaged substations across the Odesa, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia and Zhytomyr regions, cutting power to tens of thousands while residential strikes killed two and injured 12. Reviewing a weekly barrage of nearly 2,700 drones, 1,700 guided bombs, and 66 missiles – mostly ballistic – Zelensky warned that Moscow views US sanctions waivers and diesel deals as validation to prolong the war, urging increased allied pressure on Russia.
